Ingredients

  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 onion finely chopped
  • 1 bell pepper finely chopped
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, bread crumbs, eggs, onion, bell pepper, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, and salt and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  • Transfer the mixture to a loaf pan and shape into a loaf.
  • Place the loaf pan in the preheated oven and bake for 1.5 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F.
  • Remove from oven and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • Always use a meat thermometer to ensure your meatloaf is cooked completely.
  • If you prefer a crispier top, you can brush some extra ketchup on top of the meatloaf 15 minutes before it's done.
