Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef makes 4 burgers
  • 4 dairy-free cheese slices
  • 1 avocado
  • 1 lime juiced
  • Salt to taste
  • 4 hamburger buns

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Prepare the cooling rack: Place a cooling rack on top of a cookie sheet to catch any drippings and to allow heat to circulate evenly around the burgers.
  • Form the patties: Divide the ground beef into 4 equal portions and shape each into a patty.
  • Place the patties on the cooling rack and transfer them into the preheated oven.
  • Bake for 15 minutes, then carefully flip each patty.
  • Add cheese: Place a slice of dairy-free cheese on top of each patty and continue baking for another 2 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the burgers are cooked to your desired level of doneness.
  • Prepare the avocado mash: In a small bowl, mash the avocado and mix it with lime juice and salt to taste.
  • Assemble the burgers: Place each patty on a bun and top with avocado mash.
  • Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Ensure the cooling rack is oven-safe before using it to bake.
  • Adjust baking times based on the thickness of your patties and your desired level of doneness.
