Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1-2 red chili peppers chopped

Instructions

  • Prepare the Quail Eggs: In a saucepan, boil the quail eggs for 3-4 minutes. Peel the shells off and set aside.
  • Make the Batter: In a bowl, combine flour, cornstarch, baking powder, salt, pepper, and water. Mix until smooth.
  • Coat the Eggs: Dip each quail egg into the batter, ensuring they're fully coated.
  • Fry the Kwek-Kwek: Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Fry the coated quail eggs until golden brown and crispy. Remove and drain on a paper towel.
  • Prepare the Sauce: In a small saucepan, combine vinegar, soy sauce, sugar, garlic, and chili peppers. Simmer for 5 minutes.
